Children’s Activities Week 2023
Children’s Activities Week 2023 will soon be here, raising money for Caudwell Children. Caudwell Children is a charity which provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families across the UK, helping to improve their quality of life.
This year Gymboree Play & Music is thrilled to be an Ambassador for Children’s Activities Week running sponsored activities at our centres across the UK! In classes all over the UK, thousands of people will come together to take part in fun children’s activities to help raise awareness and fundraise to help disabled children.
This year’s theme is #watchmefly, celebrating the resilience and determination of children who overcome adversity and soar to new heights.
In our classes during the week 15-21 May our members will be doing extra special play activities as they learn to fly*! So, gather up your friends and family, and let’s show everyone just how high we can soar! Let’s make this Children’s Activities Week 2023 the best one yet and raise as much money as possible for those in need! Lucky members of Gymboree Play & Music Sevenoaks will also get to meet the Morton Michel Bears who are visiting various children’s activities during the week!
Members can collect a sponsorship form from their teacher if they’d like to raise money offline, or print this one, or anyone can donate via our Just Giving page.
Your donation really makes a difference:
- £5 could provide a child with sensory equipment for in-home occupational therapy
- £10 could provide a short break activity to help teach vital life skills and make friends
- £20 could help provide a practical workshop to help children understand their autism diagnosis
We know times are tough for everyone so just whatever amount you can manage is massively appreciated and 100% of it will go to supporting the children that need it most. Thank you!
