Gymboree Play & Music ‘On The Go’
We are very excited to say that our popular ‘On The Go’ Play & Music sessions are back in nurseries! Sadly over the last couple of years we have had to take a step back on these in align with lockdown restrictions/heightened nursery policies. However, we are so happy to be back up and running!
We have already started back with the fabulous Mars Montessori nursery and are headed off to teach our first session at The Children’s House nursery last week. Later on in the term you will be able to find us at The Gower School where many members attended regular Monday morning sessions before the first lockdown. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces during these classes and also can’t wait to make some new friends!
A typical ‘On The Go’ session consists of our Music theme exploration in align with what we are focusing on in our classes onsite. Some examples of these themes include Caribbean music, Rock & Roll, ABBA, Hip-Hop, Country music, Elvis etc. We explore through use of percussion instruments, moving our bodies and using our singing voices to learn new rhythms, songs and dances! Each ‘On The Go’ session finishes off with our popular parachute/bubbles time as well as a Gymbo dance to say goodbye altogether.
