Christmas Parties with Gymbo!
It’s that time of year again, it’s time for Christmas Parties with Gymbo! Many of our centres will be running…
Here at Gymboree Play & Music we pride ourselves on the world-class training, support and guidance we offer our franchisees.
As a new franchisee, you’ll have a number of tasks to complete before opening your doors. Whether it’s hiring staff, publicising your business or setting your class schedule, our Head Office team is committed to providing you with the resources and tools to make your location a success for children and parents alike!
Our custom curriculum supports “whole child” development and is uniquely created around the 3 keys to early childhood learning (social/emotional, cognitive, and physical). The curriculum has been fully created for you, but we encourage our franchisees and teachers to bring their own flair and style to their classes. Plus, there is ongoing support from our Head Office team for you and your teachers. As a global brand, families can feel comfortable that their experience will be the same no matter where in the world they attend a Gymboree Play & Music class.
We provide our franchisees with all the support they need to deliver local marketing: social media assets, adverts, email marketing, posters, etc, as well as expert agency access to run advertising campaigns. In addition, our Head Office team deliver national marketing to support your local activity, including advertising, organic social media, strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, and maintaining and developing our website.
We use Microsoft 365 to facilitate our business operations, providing our franchisees with enterprise-level applications to store all their information in a secure environment. We use Teams and Yammer to ease communication across the network, so it feels like we’re all working from the same office! We also provide excellent class booking software and reporting so you know exactly where you are operationally and financially.
We offer a robust initial franchise training where we “train the trainer”, so that you feel confident going back to your location and training your teachers. Training covers Programming, Operations, and Marketing, and is further delivered ad hoc and via self service, so you can keep up to date easily, and when it suits you.
In addition to our award-winning classes, parties and events, our franchisees have the opportunity to sell educational toys and branded items in their centres. These include cuddly Gymbos, sensory toys, musical instruments, and our famous Bubble Ooodles!

Both of my children (3.5 years and 11 months) go to Gymboree Play & Music and love it. My toddler goes to their drop-off Lego class which she raves about. It's very creative, working not only on Lego skills but also painting, drawing etc. My infant son loves his Gymboree Play & Music Crawlers class - particularly loves crawling all over their props, through the tunnels, etc. Great way to get the infant crawling over obstacles! Gymboree Play & Music is part of our weekly schedule for both kids and we look forward to participating every week. Invaluable!
Gymboree Play & Music was a lovely and positive experience for my son Leo. We started when he was 9 months and he is now 3 years old, I wish we had started sooner.
He loves the songs (which is part of our daily singing at home), the freedom to explore and he was happy there. He looks forward to class every week and once class is over he will tell everyone about Gymbo and what he did.
For me, I liked that it taught him how to get down safely from a height, how to learn to use his body, and touching on different topics every 2 weeks. It gave me confidence in other environments to trust that he has the ability that he learned from Gymboree Play & Music and to trust him.
I’ve been taking both my newborn and toddler to Gymboree Play & Music for a couple of months now and both boys are really loving the classes and open gym sessions. It’s a great way to meet other mums, entertain toddlers at witching hour(!) and get ideas for sensory play with babies. Sophie and Cat are fantastic and have so much energy and loads of different ideas for the classes, plus make sure the activities it’s help children meet their development milestones as well. Highly recommend this if you’re thinking about joining!! Thanks so much Sophie, Cat and the wider team :-)
