National Children’s Activities Week 2026
Children’s Activities Week 2026, is running 11-17 May, once again raising money for the amazing charity Caudwell Children.
During the week your little ones are going to take part in flying activities!* Grown-ups will be able to sponsor newly qualified fliers in their efforts to raise money for children with disabilities and chronic illnesses nationwide.
Come along to your normal Gymboree Play & Music classes in the next couple of weeks to practise your flying skills and get ready for Children’s Activities Week. Don’t worry, classes will run as normal, we’ll just be incorporating flying lessons into your usual developmentally-appropriate activities.
Raising Money
You can go old school and print a sponsorship form to ask family and friends to sponsor your little one to learn to fly, or you can simply share our Just Giving page and ask them to donate. Either way, all monies go to Caudwell Children to support families in need.
Caudwell Children
Caudwell Children transforms the lives of disabled and neurodivergent children and their families across the UK with Family Support, Autism Services, Mobility Equipment Funding, and more! They champion every child’s potential by listening, understanding, and delivering personalised support.
This year, money raised will be used to provide amazingly beneficial Sensory Packs for families in need in your community. For children like Marcus, this could make a huge difference:
“Marcus, aged 9, is autistic. His mum, Emma, applied to Caudwell Children for a Sensory Pack to help Marcus with his sensory difficulties and emotional regulation.
When the Sensory Pack arrived, Marcus was really excited, the items were suitable for his needs and provided the physical outlet he required. The spiky resources offered the necessary pressure while the multi-coloured fountain light calmed him and created a relaxing atmosphere.”
*metaphorically speaking 😉
