How to Tackle the Clock Change!

Your baby gets to explore music, art, signing, literacy and mindfulness all in one themed sensory session, with lots of exposure to language, movement and sensory play. Each class follows a new theme, so there’s always something exciting to discover.
Your little one will experience songs and sounds from around the world, building listening skills, language development and early emotional awareness through instruments, singing and movement. There’s no better time to start building a love of music.
You and your baby learn around 100 signs together through songs, games and activities, with Gymboree Play & Music as the first commercial partner of The Makaton Charity. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to build communication before speech develops.
You and your little one explore different musical styles, instruments and rhythms alongside children of all ages in this mixed-age class. As well as musical development, sessions support social and emotional learning, and siblings of different ages are very much welcome.
Included in all Gymboree Play & Music memberships, your child gets free time to explore the equipment and playscapes at their pace, with you close by. It’s a wonderful chance to revisit what they’ve been working on in class and follow wherever their curiosity takes them.
As your little one finds their feet, this class gives them the space and equipment to build strength, balance and confidence through physical challenges including tunnels, slides, bridges and swings. Sing-alongs and group activities incorporate social skills and memory building along the way.
We've absolutely loved coming here over the last two years. We started attending the regular classes when our nursery hours accommodated it, but now we do the parties and weekend open sessions when we can. Polly and the team are fantastic and make you feel so welcome! It's really boosted my toddler's confidence both physically and socially.
My daughter has been going to Gymboree for over a year now, and it's easily her favorite activity. I'm sure that her physical abilities have improved so much because of it. And I love the flexibility - the monthly membership is such good value, as we always end up going to a extra class or two each week on top of her regular one. Plus they run through school holidays! And I can't forget to mention the energy and enthusiasm Polly and Susie run their classes with. The kids all love them. Thank you Gymbo and team!
We absolutely adore gymboree. All the staff are amazing but especially Polly. My baby has come on leaps and bounds since attending. A true source of joy for all the family. Than you for your kindness, compassion and enthusiasm.
We've used Gymboree for almost 5 years now and the value we've had from it is brilliant. Polly, Susie and Leah are all such lovely people who make the kids so happy to be there, it really does feel like they love their jobs too. I would recommend Gymboree Bristol to any parent of young children.
Excellent sessions run be experienced staff, my daughter loved every minute. Before she went to Gymboree she was a little slow in walking and lacking confidence, also rather shy. With the activities, structure and weekly diversity in themes she emerged confident both physically and socially, all thanks to Polly and her team
Polly is the best, I often joke that she has helped parent my 2 children as much as I have! We love gymbo, the family classes especially are great for a toddler and a baby. My youngest crawled for the first time at one of the gymbo classes, and I can see them both gaining such confidence when playing there.
Gymboree is my toddler twins‘ favourite place! Each age group we’ve been to has been perfect for their age, they thrive there and the staff couldn’t be kinder. We love it all and are there multiple times a week, thank you Gymboree team, you’re all amazing!
We absolutely love Gymboree! We have had the most wonderful experience at Gymboree Hampstead. We're so grateful for the kind and friendly staff, the clean and bright environment, and the range of activities available. Everything has been excellent. We even celebrated our son's first birthday here!
Wonderful class leaders and nice vibe all around!
We’ve had such a lovely experience at Gymboree Play & Music Bristol. My daughter started attending when she was around 10 months old and she’s now 18 months, and the classes have genuinely grown with her. I absolutely love how the space changes regularly, it always feels fresh, exciting and perfectly suited to each stage of development.
Polly and Suzie are both so warm, positive and friendly. They are wonderful with my daughter and make every session feel welcoming and fun. No two classes are ever the same, each one is interactive, engaging and clearly designed with the children’s development in mind.
I’ve really noticed the benefits at home too. A few weeks ago, one class focused on “high and low” and ever since, Aoife hasn’t stopped saying “up” and pointing upwards, it was amazing to see how much she absorbed from just one session.
We’re so happy we found Gymboree, it’s been such a positive and joyful part of our routine.

It’s World Down Syndrome Day today so we’re celebrating by sharing a couple of stories from Gymboree Play & Music…
It’s time to welcome the Easter Bunny into our Gymboree Play & Music Centres and have some egg-citing fun at…
Both of my children (3.5 years and 11 months) go to Gymboree Play & Music and love it. My toddler goes to their drop-off Lego class which she raves about. It's very creative, working not only on Lego skills but also painting, drawing etc. My infant son loves his Gymboree Play & Music Crawlers class - particularly loves crawling all over their props, through the tunnels, etc. Great way to get the infant crawling over obstacles! Gymboree Play & Music is part of our weekly schedule for both kids and we look forward to participating every week. Invaluable!
Gymboree Play & Music was a lovely and positive experience for my son Leo. We started when he was 9 months and he is now 3 years old, I wish we had started sooner.
He loves the songs (which is part of our daily singing at home), the freedom to explore and he was happy there. He looks forward to class every week and once class is over he will tell everyone about Gymbo and what he did.
For me, I liked that it taught him how to get down safely from a height, how to learn to use his body, and touching on different topics every 2 weeks. It gave me confidence in other environments to trust that he has the ability that he learned from Gymboree Play & Music and to trust him.
I’ve been taking both my newborn and toddler to Gymboree Play & Music for a couple of months now and both boys are really loving the classes and open gym sessions. It’s a great way to meet other mums, entertain toddlers at witching hour(!) and get ideas for sensory play with babies. Sophie and Cat are fantastic and have so much energy and loads of different ideas for the classes, plus make sure the activities it’s help children meet their development milestones as well. Highly recommend this if you’re thinking about joining!! Thanks so much Sophie, Cat and the wider team :-)
