Covid-19 Update
We at Gymboree Play & Music care about the safety and wellbeing of our customers and their families; and we hope you are managing to stay as stress free as possible in these difficult times. As such we are monitoring the Government Covid-19 guidelines by the hour to make sure we are making the right decisions for you and our teams.
In the light of the most recent announcements some of our sites have decided to close, either because their venue has closed, or because they cannot staff their site. As of 11am on Thursday 18th March the following sites are closed:
- Edinburgh
- Glasgow South
- Kensington
- Solihull
- Tunbridge Wells
- Watford
- Wimbledon
All other sites are open, but it’s probably best to double-check with your site before you leave home if you’re coming to classes.
Gymboree Play & Music are a network of small family run businesses and these are scary times for our franchisees and their teams. We are trying to provide our classes for as long as possible to avoid disruption for you and your families, and maintain the livelihoods of our teams. We have however made some changes to our classes, where running, to take even greater care of health and hygiene:
- Hands to be washed before and after class
- No Gymbo kisses – we are bringing Gymbo out but not physically giving kisses
- No Gymbo stamps on hands or feet, but we can stamp your child’s Gymbo sticker
- We are only using necessary props and ensuring everything is cleaned with antibacterial cleaner including surfaces and toys are every use.
- We are using a bubble fan rather than the bubble blower.
Furthermore we are working on an exciting project to bring Gymboree Play & Music classes to our customers in their homes for when the time comes to close completely. Please watch out for news on this and if you can possibly continue to support your local Gymboree Play & Music in the weeks and months to come we would be so very grateful ❤
