Children in Need

It’s Children in Need on Friday 14th November and we’re going to have some extra fun all week!

Pudsey is encouraging us all to challenge ourselves this year to celebrate Children in Need – but we do that all the time in our classes, don’t we?! Just to raise the bar a little, we’ll be adding in some mini challenges like popping 25 bubbles, or bouncing 25 times on the Airlog, as part of our normal lessons.

As is tradition, we’d love to see you come to classes dressed up, (but you’re equally welcome in normal clothes too) 🤗.  How about dressing up as a pirate or a superhero like Gymbo; wearing yellow, or something spotty? Perhaps your little one could wear their favourite party outfit, or maybe even dress up as a bear!  Anything goes!

BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be.  Last year they raised over £50 million, supported well over 400,000 children, through their funding of nearly 1500 charities.  However they’re only able to fund 1 in 6 projects that apply for support, so every donation is important.

  • £5 pays for a food parcel for a child affected by poverty and mental health issues, ensuring access to healthy food to improve physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • £10 pays for a forest school session for a 3-year-old affected by poverty, supporting him to learn, to make friends and to have fun.
  • £20 pays for a young person with cancer to attend a fun outing, enabling her to take a day’s break from hospital appointments and make positive memories.

Challenge yourself to 25 and donate!
