Gymboree Play & Music Wandsworth & Wimbledon is run by Aaron and his fantastic team. They’re based on the east edge of Wandsworth Park in a huge new space! They cover a large area, up to Wandsworth Common and Wimbledon Park, down to Morden, west to Raynes Park and Wimbledon Common, and east to Tooting Bec, and everywhere in between! They offer sensory classes for babies, music and art classes, as well as our famous Play & Learn classes for little ones who are on the move, up to 5 years old. They also offer a range of fabulously fun birthday parties with zero clean up for you!

Gymboree Play & Music’s classes are offered as a membership, where members are booked in for developmentally-appropriate teacher-led classes every week. Members can also enjoy unlimited access to Open Gym sessions throughout the week, spaces permitting. Membership fees are paid monthly by direct debit.

Originally from Ireland, Aaron moved to London five years ago and began his Gymboree journey in 2018.
With a degree in Drama and a Masters in Musical Theatre, performing is in his nature and he loves to sing and dance for all the little ones in his classes!
When he's not at Gymboree, you can probably find him bingeing the latest Netflix series, at a West End Show or on the basketball court.

With a venue size of almost 3,000 sq ft., we have a large central play area with several adjoining rooms which allow us to run multiple classes and clinics concurrently. We have ample space for buggy parking, baby changing facilities and accessible toilets.
We are right around the corner from a gorgeous river front and directly opposite a huge park that has a cafe and a mini golf course. There is ample on-street parking nearby as well as a number of nearby bus routes and it is also walking distance from East Putney and Wandsworth Town stations.

We absolutely love our Gymboree class with Aaron! From the moment we walked in, Aaron’s welcoming energy made us feel right at home. His enthusiasm is contagious — he has an amazing ability to keep every child engaged and excited throughout the entire class. It’s so clear that he genuinely loves what he does, and it shines through in the way he connects with each child.
Aaron also made our 1-year-old’s first birthday party so incredibly special. He brought the same fantastic energy and warmth, creating a fun, memorable experience for everyone there. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to lead such an important celebration.
We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful teacher — Aaron truly makes Gymboree a highlight of our week!
My toddler has been to a lot of classes here and we recently hosted his birthday party here too. Aaron is brilliant with the little ones, and the classes are such fun for them. The children (of all ages) love the climbing and play equipment. It’s ideal to practice their motor skills and the combination of songs and group / circle activities with the exploration is ideal.
The party was brilliant, Aaron decorated the party room so wonderfully, loved how easy it made everything and all we needed to do was to bring food/drink. Thank you so much Aaron!
I chose them because the place is very cozy and Aaron really a great person. the kids had a lot of fun. They also provide both the theme and organization (fun, mise en place, balloons) really a pleasant time for us parents to see children having fun.
We celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday party at Gymboree Wandsworth and it was a huge success! All the kids & parents thoroughly enjoyed the setting & Aaron organised the class amazingly based around our chosen theme. Would highly recommend a Gymboree party with Aaron!

Our classes run 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and we run birthday parties all throughout the weekend. Apart from a short closure at Christmas time, we stay open all year round!
We offer trial classes at a cost of £15. If you are interesting in continuing after your trial class, then the options below would be the next step.
We have three different kinds of memberships. Our Standard Membership costs £69.50 per month and entitles you to one class per week plus unlimited Open Gym sessions. Our Premium Membership is £89.50 per month and entitles you to two classes per week plus unlimited Open Gym sessions. Our Platinum Membership costs £129.50 per month and entitles you to unlimited access to all age-appropriate classes and Open Gym sessions.
We offer a PAYG option at £20 per class. We also offer our Class-Pass, whereby you get five classes to book as you wish over a three-month period for £85.
We have a number of Open Gym sessions throughout the week. In these sessions, there is no teacher leading the activities, but you and your little one can play to your heart's content using our specialised props and patented apparatus. These are free to attend for members and cost £7 for non-member PAYG.
We offer a family discount on our monthly memberships. If you have two children, there is a 30% discount for your second child. If you have twins, there is a 50% discount for one child.
If you notify us of an absence in advance of your registered class, then you will receive a make-up class in its place, which you can use to book any age-appropriate session within two months of your absence.
We sanitise all props and equipment used after every class and we also hoover and mop the floor multiple times a day.

Both of my children (3.5 years and 11 months) go to Gymboree Play & Music and love it. My toddler goes to their drop-off Lego class which she raves about. It's very creative, working not only on Lego skills but also painting, drawing etc. My infant son loves his Gymboree Play & Music Crawlers class - particularly loves crawling all over their props, through the tunnels, etc. Great way to get the infant crawling over obstacles! Gymboree Play & Music is part of our weekly schedule for both kids and we look forward to participating every week. Invaluable!
Gymboree Play & Music was a lovely and positive experience for my son Leo. We started when he was 9 months and he is now 3 years old, I wish we had started sooner.
He loves the songs (which is part of our daily singing at home), the freedom to explore and he was happy there. He looks forward to class every week and once class is over he will tell everyone about Gymbo and what he did.
For me, I liked that it taught him how to get down safely from a height, how to learn to use his body, and touching on different topics every 2 weeks. It gave me confidence in other environments to trust that he has the ability that he learned from Gymboree Play & Music and to trust him.
I’ve been taking both my newborn and toddler to Gymboree Play & Music for a couple of months now and both boys are really loving the classes and open gym sessions. It’s a great way to meet other mums, entertain toddlers at witching hour(!) and get ideas for sensory play with babies. Sophie and Cat are fantastic and have so much energy and loads of different ideas for the classes, plus make sure the activities it’s help children meet their development milestones as well.
