Children In Need 2025
Get Ready for Children in Need Week!
Friday 14th November is Children in Need Day — and this year, we’re taking on the “Challenge Yourself to 25!”
Don’t worry, it’s all about having fun while doing good — and we’ve got lots planned to keep the smiles going all week long!
In class, we’ll be setting some exciting mini challenges:
✨ Pop 25 bubbles
✨ Do 25 stomps on the stompy bridge
✨ Give 25 high fives to your teachers, Amelia & Olivia!
But that’s not all… we’re inviting everyone to dress up all week!
🧢 Dig out those funny hats,
👕 Rock your silliest t-shirts,
🧦 Show off your funky socks,
🦸♀️ Or even come as your favourite superhero or princess!
Get creative, have fun, and remember — no need to buy anything new. Just use what you already have and make it your own! (Please make sure your little one can still climb safely in their outfit!)
💛 Want to make a difference?
While we can’t collect donations in class, you can easily donate online here: Donate to Early Years
Every penny counts! BBC Children in Need believes every child deserves the chance to thrive.
Last year, thanks to amazing supporters like you, they raised over £50 million, helping more than 400,000 children across nearly 1,500 charities. But they can only fund 1 in 6 projects that apply — so your donation truly matters.
Here’s how your kindness helps:
💛 £5 — Provides a food parcel for a child in need, improving their wellbeing.
🌳 £10 — Funds a forest school session for a 3-year-old, helping them learn and make friends.
🎈 £20 — Gives a young person with cancer a day out to make precious memories.
📸 A quick note: We’ll be taking photos and videos throughout the week for our social media and Children in Need — if you’d prefer your little one not to appear, please let us know.
Let’s make this Children in Need Week one to remember — full of laughter, learning, and lots of high fives!
