Christmas Jumper Day!

It’s Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 11th December, raising money for Save the Children!Christmas Jumper Day

Christmas Jumper Day has been running since 2012, and the money raised goes towards helping children and families with access to education, healthcare, protection, and nutritious food.   At Gymboree Play & Music we love an excuse to dress up, and we’re excited to see you come to class in your festive jumpers!  But please don’t feel you need to buy a new jumper, second hand will do.  Or if you’re feeling creative you could decorate any old jumper with stickers, glitter or tinsel.

We have some templates for penguin, snowman, and robin decorations to help you get started!

And don’t forget to tag us @gymboreeclassesuk and @savechildrenuk and #ChristmasJumperDay in your pix on social media so we can see your sparkly skills!

Your Money Goes a Long Way

  • £2 could buy a packet of seeds for a family in Kenya to grow their own food, after drought has killed their crops.
  • £8 could buy a blanket to keep a child in Ukraine warm through winter.
  • £15 could pay for two weeks of super-powered peanut paste to help a child beat hunger.
  • £20 could buy enough supermarket vouchers for two children in the UK.
  • £40 could provide a family in Gaza with a Baby Kit to give them the items they need to provide basic care to their infant.

Donate via our Just Giving page or text GYMBO to 70050 to donate £5

As always, there’s no obligation to donate, or come to class in festive jumpers on the day.  If it brings you joy, please go ahead, if not, that’s ok too 🙂.
