St Albans is celebrating with a Platinum Jubilee Street Festival on bank holiday Thursday, 2nd June 2022!

St Albans City and District Council’s annual Alban Street Festival is having a make-over for one year only, with a street festival taking place as part of the Jubilee celebrations right across the country and St Albans city centre businesses with the BID as the main sponsor.

The SADC event takes place from 3pm – 10pm and roads will be closed as locals and visitors enjoy a fantastic afternoon of music, food and drink, entertainment and community for all ages.

The event culminates with a beacon-lighting ceremony on the roof of the Museum + Gallery at 9.15pm, to tie in with the national beacon celebrations.
